Dave Hurley
PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Dave Hurley is a sports and orthopedic physical therapist with expertise in treating sports injuries, concussion, and running-related injuries. He currently holds board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2020. He has also been recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists since 2022. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a clinical mentor for the Northwestern University Fellowship in Advanced Orthopedic Physical Therapy Practice, Research, and Education as well as the Northwestern Division 1 Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship. Dave previously served as Team Physical Therapist for DePaul University Division 1 Athletics from 2021-2024. His current research is focused on improving objective return to sport testing using marker-less motion capture and AI advanced technology. He enjoys working with a diverse athletic and orthopedic population using evidence-based treatments to support their fitness goals as well as lasting health and wellness.
